The Company continues its effort in its agents' individual qualification level improvement and the development of their professionalism. The Company's training centre was strongly put at contribution in the fulfillment of these objectives.

Training actions related to 4625 agents this year, against 5092 in 2008, for total costs of 533 860 KDZD (that is to say 6,21% of the wage bill), against 382 631 KDZD (4,47 % of the wage bill) in 2008.

3106 agents (67,2 % of the total) were concerned with extra-company training sessions which aim at the improvement in the basic trade.

In addition to the HSE and drilling, the stress is also laid on the control of languages, maintenance, management and data processing.

1519 agents (32,8 % of the total) were concerned with intra-company training, of which trainings of induction following recruitments, as well as specialization trainings given by Algerian and Foreign research organisms
